Delete Your Topdoc Account
You can request permanent deletion of your Topdoc account and the personal data associated with it at any time, without signing in to the app.
How to request deletion
To delete your Topdoc account and associated data, email us from the address on your account. We will verify your request and confirm once it is complete.
Email us to delete your account Or email [email protected] directly with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.Emailing from the address on your account helps us verify and locate it quickly. We may ask for additional information to confirm you own the account before we proceed.
Before you delete
Download or save anything you want to keep first. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What happens to your data
- Deleted: your account, profile, preferences, and the personal data associated with your account.
- Retained: records we are required to keep by law (for example, medical and billing records under HIPAA and applicable state law), and a limited amount of data needed for security and fraud prevention. We keep this only as long as required and as described in our Privacy Policy.
This is a permanent deletion of your account, not a temporary deactivation, disabling, or freezing.
How long it takes
We confirm and process account deletion requests within 30 days of verifying your request. Data we are legally required to retain is removed at the end of its required retention period.
